Structure and role of the board

Who sits on it
The presidents of IBF's 42 member business associations are ex-officio members of the BOG; each association holds one vote on the board.

How often it meets
The board convenes twice a year: once in the first half of the year and once the day before the IBF Congress, in the host country.

What it decides
The host country and theme of the next congress, new membership applications, the annual work programme and joint projects are all decided by the BOG.

Link to the congress
The outcomes of the BOG meeting are shared publicly at the congress opening and form the framework of the final communiqué.
